Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you buy from commercelia.com. Please read them before you place an order. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

About us

Commercelia is run by Commercelia, a company in the SPC Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
If we need to contact you, we will use the email address or phone number you gave us with your order.

Who can buy

We sell to consumers and deliver to addresses in the United Arab Emirates only, in all seven emirates. A working UAE mobile number is required, because the courier phones before delivering.

Your order

1. When you place an order, you are offering to buy the items at the prices shown.
2. You then see an order page with your order number (for example VS-2026-000123). Keep it: with your email address it lets you track your order.
3. Our contract with you is made when we accept your order, which happens when we dispatch it or confirm that it is on its way.
4. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was clearly shown in error, we cannot confirm payment or we cannot deliver to the address. If we do, we will tell you and refund everything you paid.

Prices

All prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). We are not registered for UAE VAT, so no VAT is added to them.
The price on the product page is what you pay for the item. Delivery is added and shown in your basket and at checkout before you confirm your order. If a price was clearly wrong (for example, an obvious typing error), we may cancel the order and refund you rather than sell at that price.

Payment

You can pay with the methods shown at checkout, currently card and cash on delivery.

• Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Card payments are taken when you place your order. If one is not completed within 24 hours, the order is cancelled automatically.
• If you pay cash on delivery, you pay the courier when your order arrives. Any cash on delivery fee is shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

Discount codes and store credit

• Discount codes are subject to the conditions shown with them (for example an end date or a minimum spend), one per order, have no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time.
• Store credit is held in your account, can be used towards future orders on this site and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Delivery

Delivery options, costs and times are explained on our Delivery page. Delivery times are estimates. If we do not deliver within 30 days of your order, or by a date we agreed with you as essential, you may treat the contract as ended and we will refund you. The items are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us (or to someone you nominated).

Changing your mind

If you want to cancel an order that has not been dispatched yet, contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Many orders are passed to our suppliers for packing very soon after payment, so we cannot always stop an order. If we can, we will cancel it and refund you in full.

We do not accept returns for a change of mind, because our suppliers take back only faulty, damaged or wrong items. Faulty, damaged or wrong items can always come back free if you tell us within 30 days of delivery (below, and on our Returns page).

If something is wrong with your item

UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection says goods must match their description and be free from defects. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, as that law provides.

Please contact us with your order number and photos. We cover the cost of returning faulty, damaged or wrong items. Nothing in these terms affects these rights.

Product information

We try to describe and picture every product accurately; many descriptions and photos come from our suppliers. Colours can look different on different screens, and sizes and measurements are approximate.

Reviews

If you write a product review, you must have bought the item, and what you write must be honest and your own. Reviews are checked before they are published. By submitting one, you let us publish it on the site with your first name and the initial of your surname.

Your account

You can check out as a guest or create an account. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend an account that is used for fraud or to break these terms.

Using the site

Please do not misuse the site: do not try to gain unauthorised access, interfere with how it works, copy it in bulk or use it for anything unlawful. The site's design, text and images belong to us or our suppliers.

Our responsibility to you

• If we fail to keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
• We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.
• We supply products for domestic and private use only, and are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as courier disruption or severe weather; we will tell you and keep the delay as short as we can, and you may cancel and get a refund for anything not yet delivered.

Problems and complaints

If you have a problem, please contact us first; most things can be put right quickly.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. You also keep any protection given to you by the mandatory rules of UAE consumer protection law, including any right to complain to the consumer protection authorities.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
